PROGRESSIVE PERMANENT HAIR REDUCTION

Laser Hair Removal, when first introduced in the 1990, was limited to light skinned individuals with dark hair. Efficient Laser Hair Removal was produced by Alexandrite and Diode lasers. Dark skin individuals could not use this tape of lasers for effective hair removal because early generation lasers were unable to distinguish between skin pigment and hair follicles, which led to the burning of those with darker skin. Today this has all changed. With the new laser line, the YAG system provides excellent results for individual with dark skin and dark hair.

The Epilas Laser (YAG) emits a wavelength of 1064 nanometers which is absorbed by the hair high concentration of melanin (The pigment which gives the skin color). This melanin absorption produces a reduction that elevates the temperature of the hair to 160 degrees centigrade pending a fraction of a second (of 4to 10 milliseconds) and destroys the papilla (source of production of hair) this effect is permanent when the hair is in the growth phase (the only phase that the hair is attached to the papilla)

Hair passes through 3 phases, growth, rest and degeneration. All hairs are not found at the same moment in the growth phase( the only phase possible to achieve permanent hair removal). For this reason many session are required to ensure that all hair is treated in a growth phase, making this procedure Progressive. The permanent reduction is achieve with number of sessions over a 1 year period This depilation can be maintained indefinitely; The body is in a constant evolution and can develop new hair at any time. For this reason, Epilas Laser (YAG) Depilation may have to be preformed in some instances, over a period of several years, making this procedure long?term.

WHY EPILAS LASER (YAG) COMPARED TO OTHER LASERS

Let’s see the facts…

The wavelength of laser beam from 600 to 1100 nanometers (laser types: Ruby, Alexandrite and Diodes) are absorbed not only by melanin of the hair but also by melanin of the skin. The depth of melanin of the skin being at 2mm. from the surface, in the epidermis, limits the Laser beam penetration and action of the hair. To reach the hair bulb (at approximately 2?7 ml. into the skin) the energy required risk to damage.

Depilation without secondary effects

The advantage of the Epilas Laser(YAG) is that it does not provoke un desirable secondary effect.

THE PROCEDURE

1.Technician must adjust parameters of the laser beam particularly for the areas to be treated for each client.

2.Technician then proceeds with treatment on the surface to be treated. Treatment can last from 15min. to 2 hours., depending of the treated area.

3. During the treatment client will feel some discomfort.

RESULTS OVER TIME

1. In the initial Epilas laser treatment session all of the hairs treated will be destroyed and only certain hairs will reappear a few days before the second treatment session.

2. Within the monthly period (depending of the body part) of treatment number of hairs decrease.

3.Technician will distance the treatment sessions from by-weekly, to by monthly, and quarterly.

4. After 6 months the technician proceeds with final view Epilas Laser (YAG) treatment session.

NOTE: The total procedure normally takes approximately 1 year to complete.

CONCLUSION

* Compare to electrolysis Epilas Laser (YAG) depilation is much economical, It save you not only thousands of dollars but also numerous hours of your precious time and side effects.

* Over one year, the cost of a permanent reduction Epilas laser is the most economical method of all permanent or reduce methods.

* Epilas laser depilation cost over 5 ?year period is even more economical or equal to waxing. And is permanent!

WHITE & GRAY HAIR

Only White and Gray hair are not receptive to the Epilas Laser(YAG) beam. When these are present they are often a minority and close to invisible to the eye. If they are still a concern for the individuals they can be removed by other method of depilation.
